Taz Restaurant

This place was a diamond find. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Situated out the way of the hustle and bustle, in Rettendon. From the moment you walk through the glass doors, held open by the wonderful staff awaiting to greet you, you will be amazed at the beautiful decor and the superb service you receive. The food literally gave my taste buds a mouth orgasm. Perfectly cooked, with an explosion of flavours in every bite. The wait time for food was just right, Tables were cleaned between each course, almost as soon as you finished your dish. We were even personally greeted by one of their partners, as were many of the other tables. Sadly I didn't take many pictures as I was too busy enjoying the experience. From start to finish, all I can say is just WOW! If you enjoy Turkish food, or even if your unsure, theres a wide range of foods to cater for most. I highly recommend this place, especially for special occasions, your friends and family will not be disappointed.

Without a doubt that's the best restaurant in and around Chelmsford. The staff is unbelievable. The venue is very comfortable. And the food..... Normally when you eat in a good restaurant, some of the food is very good, some is just ok, and some of the items are disappointing. In Taz, every single item we have ordered was 10 out of 10 (keep in mind that I'm very picky on the food). For me there is no other restaurant from now onwards and all notable events for me will be celebrated there!!!

Taz is an absolute gem for Turkish food lovers. The lamb chops and grilled fish were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. We loved the meze platter, fresh salads, and crispy lahmacun. Everything tasted homemade and beautifully presented. Great service and a warm, inviting atmosphere—highly recommend!

Fantastic experience recently at Taz, for a group meal. On arrival, we were promptly greeted and as part of our party was already there, we were shown outside and offered drinks which were served quickly. Our table was presented on time and our waiter was attentive throughout the meal. Our food was delicious, presented well, and no one within the group had a bad word to say about any of their 3 courses. I personally had the lamb chops and ribs for the main, they were tasty and succulent. Post meal, we enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine, enjoying drinks in the lovely gardens. Again, service was never an issue even though we weren't in the main area. All of the staff here were wonderfully attentive, engaging and enjoyed talking and mixing with us when invited too. A credit to the area, well worth a visit.

From the appetizers to the main course, everything was fresh and delicious. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for top-notch Turkish cuisine with outstanding service, Taz is the place to go. Highly recommended!

First time visitors. Definitely didn't disappoint. The service was outstanding. All staff were extremely friendly and attentive, great atmosphere and great food. The cheesecake was to die for. Will definitely be returning and have already recommended Taz to family and friends.

It was my first time dining at Taz Restaurant, went for a friends birthday. Made to feel very welcome and there was a lot of choice on the menu.Hospitality was of the finest. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Can’t wait to return.

Honestly what a lovely place, ok it's a little Towie, but there is nothing wrong with a bit of glitz and bling. The staff are very kind and friendly, they know stuff about you and remember it. The rooms are amazingly decorated, no expense has been spared. Our food was excellent, really spot on, and tasted delicious. The staff were attentive throughout but not pestering. At the end the manager came to speak to us, what a really lovely man he is. I honestly couldn't fault the place, thanks for taking care of my anniversary for me xx
